Why a sentence a day
A word on its own tells you what it means; a sentence tells you how it behaves — where it sits, which particle follows it, which measure word it takes. Reading one short, real sentence every day builds exactly the feel for word order that vocabulary lists leave out.
Say it aloud after the audio, then answer the check from memory. Rebuilding the word order is the hard part, and the part worth doing.

Is it the same sentence for everyone?
Yes. The sentence is chosen from the calendar date, changes at midnight UTC, and the rotation walks 2,100 sentences before any repeats.
How is this different from the Word of the Day?
The Word of the Day teaches one word. The Sentence of the Day shows words working together: word order, particles and measure words, which is what a single word cannot teach.
Can I see earlier sentences?
