How do I type Pinyin with tone marks?

How do I type ǚ (ü with a tone)?
Use the ü row: ǖ ǘ ǚ ǜ. The ü vowel appears in syllables like nǚ (woman) and lǜ (green).
Which vowel gets the tone mark?
