- 140 minutes for the whole paper. One clock, not one per section — the real exam times each section separately, and this does not pretend to.
- Practice target 180 / 300. Each section is worth 100; this practice score does not predict an official result.
- Listening questions have a play button. Press it as often as you like; the real exam controls the playback.
- Classic HSK 2.0 practice, with adapted question types. No pinyin hints. Listening and reading use words and individual sentences, with English instructions and translations.
- Writing is word-order practice: one sentence drill, rather than the official long-passage summary. It cannot assess summary-writing skill. Use an official sample paper to practise composition and exam pacing.
- You can skip and come back. Nothing is submitted or stored, and there is no sign-up.

Where these questions come from
Every question is built from material published elsewhere on this site: the official HSK 6 word list, the hand-written example sentences on the dictionary pages. Word boundaries in the gap-fill and word-order questions come from the same segmenter the translators use, so a question can never disagree with the dictionary about where a word starts.
That also means the paper is different every time: there is far more material at this level than one sitting can use, so retaking it is a new exam rather than a second look at the same one.

Is this the real HSK 6 exam?
No — it uses the classic HSK 2.0 section counts and adapted exercises, with a 140-minute clock and a 180 / 300 practice target. The questions are generated from HSK 6 material, not taken from a past paper.
Why is there only one clock?
The real exam times each section separately and plays the listening once or twice at a fixed pace. This gives you the whole 140 minutes to use as you like and lets you replay any listening question. It is a study tool, and being stricter than that would make it worse at teaching.
Can I practise HSK 5 and HSK 6 here?
Yes: the HSK 5 practice paper has 100 questions, and the HSK 6 practice paper has 101. Both draw from thousands of curated sentences, with no sentence tested twice in a paper and no pinyin hints. Their writing sections use word-order drills, not essay grading. Review missed words, save them to your deck, then try a fresh paper.
