About this deck

Practise 24 words with a matching picture on every card. Look at each picture and try saying the word before checking the pinyin. Choose three garments and two accessories you would wear, then save the names you find difficult. Try New shuffle for a fresh round, practise colours, or use the shopping phrases to prepare for a shop visit.

Nine garment words, six footwear and sock words, and nine accessories form this everyday wardrobe selection. The coat is long and buttoned; the jacket is short and zipped. Jeans have denim pockets and seams, the skirt has no bodice, and the dress is one connected garment. Shoes, socks and gloves may be shown singly or in pairs as examples, not as a lesson in quantities. Clear lenses identify eyeglasses, and a face with straps identifies a wristwatch. Fabrics, garment parts and specialist fashion are outside this deck.
