About this deck

Practise 24 words with a matching picture on every card. Count the dice pips or counting blocks, say the Chinese aloud, then check the pinyin and meaning. Use Listen when audio is available, and save difficult numbers to your review deck.

An empty tray means zero. Add the pips across all the dice for numbers one to fifteen. Each colored rod holds ten beads; loose gold beads are ones. A square tile has one hundred little squares. A gridded cube represents one thousand, and ten cubes represent ten thousand. This is a selection of numbers, not every number from 1 to 100. Readings are shown as the dictionary writes them; see the counting guide for usage and pronunciation in context.
