The leaderboard is optional. Nothing is sent unless you tap the button, and it never asks for a name, email address or anything else about you.
How to play
Press the speaker to hear a Chinese word, then tap the picture it belongs to. Press it again as many times as you like — there is no timer and no penalty for listening twice, which is the point: this is the gentlest listening practice on the site, and the one to start with before the dictation games. A round is ten questions, and at the end you get your score out of ten and can play another ten.
