Last month I took the train to Shanghai.
I got to the station at seven in the morning.
The station was packed; I queued half an hour before I got a ticket.
My seat was by the window, which pleased me.
After the train pulled out I saw a lot of hills and fields.
An older man was sitting next to me.
He asked me, "Where are you from?"
We talked for a long time, and he even gave me an orange.
Four hours later the train arrived in Shanghai.
I said goodbye to him and walked out of the station.
Shanghai is far bigger than my city, and far livelier.
