我的中文老师姓李，我们都叫她李老师。
My Chinese teacher's surname is Li; we all call her Teacher Li.
她教中文已经教了二十年了。
She's been teaching Chinese for twenty years.
李老师上课非常认真。
Teacher Li is extremely conscientious in class.
她说话不快，可是每个字都很清楚。
She doesn't speak fast, but every word is clear.
我们问她问题的时候，她从来不马上回答。
When we ask her a question, she never answers straight away.
她总是先问：“你觉得呢？”
She always asks first, "What do you think?"
刚开始的时候，我觉得有点儿累。
At first I found that a bit tiring.
后来我发现，自己想出来的东西记得最久。
Later I realised that what you work out yourself is what you remember longest.
去年我考试没考好，很难过。
Last year I did badly in an exam and felt terrible.
李老师跟我说：“慢一点儿没关系，别停下来。”
Teacher Li said to me, "Slower is fine — just don't stop."
现在我的中文比以前好多了，我很感谢她。
My Chinese is much better than before now, and I'm grateful to her.
